Q: Is the flute loud enough to be heard at my outdoor wedding?
A: Yes, the flute is a versatile instrument that works well both indoors
and outdoors. The flute’s song – like tone quality blends with the
natural beauty of the outdoor wedding setting.
Q: What do I get for your price?
A: My weddings include a prelude (15-20 minutes), the processional for
the attendants and the bride, an interlude piece if requested, the
recessional and a postlude (5-10 minutes). Each wedding is different
and will be customized to meet the needs of the wedding party.
Q: Do I get to choose the songs?
A: Absolutely. The bride and groom choose each piece I play. My
selections list has over 100 pieces. Additional requests made in
advance are always welcome.
Q: How do we get together to choose the songs?
A: Due to the fact that most couples are not on Mackinac Island, I do phone
meetings. With speaker phone, if you need help choosing the pieces,
I play them for you over the phone. We work together to make your
music special.
